Lisa Magnan is a contemporary dancer from France. During past two months she was wondering what people all over the world are thinking about this quarantine time and whether their perspective is different depending on where they are on the earth. So she collected vocal recordings from people living in many places asking them :-What do you see from your window?-How are you feeling?-Will you keep some good memories of this time?-Will you make any changes when this period of confinement ends?-Where and with whom would you like to be right now?
From the answers she created some short dance videos, made while she was also confined. The videos were initiated by the recordings, these voices were the starting point from which I created the dance. Of course we each see things from our own perspective, so « CONFI(N)DANCE » is her own interpretation of what I heard, felt, understood, imagined…
