This playlist empowers young people to navigate the complex media landscape, engage in meaningful and respectful conversations, and access and share reliable information.


This playlist is designed for you to become a more informed and engaged citizen, capable of leading initiatives that promote media literacy and constructive dialogue in your community. It supports and prompts learning, recognition and actions contributing to the European Youth Goal #4 Information & Constructive Dialogue.

By completing playlist activities you will be able to influence local decisions, making your voices heard on issues that matter most to you. Take an active role in shaping your life and communities to ensure that your perspectives are considered in local policymaking.

How partners and organisations in Cities of Learning can support you:

This activity will engage you in respectful and productive conversations, both online and in person.


Take part in workshops and debates where you’ll learn effective communication techniques, active listening, and conflict resolution. You’ll also get the chance to organise community dialogues that encourage diverse voices.

You’ll be better equipped to engage in constructive conversations and resolve conflicts peacefully, making your community a more understanding place by taking part in the following activities in your city:
  • Take skills workshops: Develop your skills in debating, effective communication and active listening through participating in role-play scenarios and exercises, for example, “Volcano Eruption” 2.0.
  • Join a debate club or activity: Practise your dialogue skills in debates on topics that matter to you, with feedback to help you improve.
  • Participate in community dialogue events: Host and participate in events that bring together different perspectives in your community. Use the toolbox to learn how to organise the Dialogue activities to implement the Youth Goals together.
